专利说明:
Method for manufacturing a brush, device therefor, as well as a brush The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a brush, more particularly a round brush, with a part with hairs and a carrier in which the part protrudes with the hairs and in which it is attached, wherein the part with the hairs has hairs which have twisted wire segments are attached. The invention further relates to a device for manufacturing a brush, as well as an actual brush. The invention more particularly relates to the production method and to a device for manufacturing a round brush, as well as to a round brush itself. So-called twisted round brushes also have a part with hairs that consist on the one hand of the hairs and on the other of a wire, with segments twisted together. Between the twisted wire segments, hairs are clamped in the middle, which ends then have protruding ends. Such brushes are used in particular as miniature brushes, especially as interdental brushes and as mascara brushes. The wire, the segments of which are twisted together, has a diameter of less than 1 mm, and with interdental brushes of only a few tenths of a millimeter. In particular with interdental brushes it is important that the part with the hair is firmly anchored in the carrier. This excludes that if the interdental brush got stuck between closely spaced teeth, the wearer would become detached from the part with the hairs. Miniature brushes have hitherto been made in such a way that the part with the hairs, which has a segment with hairs, as well as an end without hairs on the side of the carrier, with the aforementioned end on the carrier side being glued into an opening of the carrier during manufacture of the carrier is sprayed over or sunk by means of fusing or welding after induction heating of the carrier fitting into the latter. In addition, however, there are also arrangements for introducing the end of the part with the hairs on the carrier side into an opening of the carrier, deforming the part with the hairs over a lateral opening in the carrier and subsequently leaving the inner cavity. to spray or stick to obtain a nice adjustment. Finally, there are also so-called interchangeable brushes under the interdental toothbrushes, the carrier having the shape of a handle or handle which is equipped with a fixed connectable and detachable fixing device for the end of the part with the hairs on the carrier side. Here, the component with the hairs is inserted, for example with its end on the side of the carrier, into an opening and subsequently simultaneously bent and clamped 90 °. The invention has for its object to provide a method for manufacturing a brush, more particularly a round brush, which on the one hand is inexpensive and on the other hand guarantees a reliable attachment of the brush part in the carrier. Moreover, an inexpensive device for manufacturing a brush is provided, as well as an inexpensive brush itself. The aforementioned object is achieved according to the method according to the invention in the following steps: arranging an anchoring element at the end of the part with the hairs on the carrier side, and subsequently, jointly inserting the anchoring element and the end of the part with the hairs on the carrier side in an opening in the carrier while the wall of the opening is deformed by the anchoring element, such that the part with the hairs is inextricably anchored in the carrier. In the method according to the invention, the wire is fixed in the carrier with the aid of a separate anchoring element. This fixing is done by the anchoring element itself, which is larger than the opening, and deforms the wall of the opening. The anchoring element can in this case also partially enclose the wall of the opening 7nal ς hpj * aPVfl 1 ifi in Hp tr - -. W— «w - - w ---- --- - --- - Preferred embodiment An incision of the anchoring element in the wall of the opening must also be regarded as a plastic deformation The invention provides an inseparable anchoring of the part with the hairs in the carrier, in other words the two parts can only be used with brute force from each other or by breaking them. According to the preferred embodiment, for attaching the anchoring element to the wire, at least one segment of the wire, but preferably both twisted-in wire segments, is bent at the end on the support side. The anchoring element is then received in the bent end. As an option, it may be preferred to cause the anchoring element to be carried along with the hairs during the insertion and to be clamped in the carrier. Thanks to the bent end, a nicely fitting lock is also obtained in the pull-out direction. The end of the part with the hairs on the carrier side can be U-shaped or bent so that a closed or almost closed loop is formed. The anchor element used is, for example, an anchor plate, in particular a flat anchor plate, which extends transversely to the insertion direction. Alternatively, the anchoring element can have an arcuate shape and have protruding feet. This makes it possible to design the anchoring element as a punching element or as a bent wire. Barbs or the like may also be provided here. According to a preferred embodiment, the anchoring element is designed as a loop formed from a bent wire. In particular, when the anchoring element has feet remote from it or ends therefrom, the latter is pressed forward into the opening. As already mentioned, the method according to the invention is preferably used for the manufacture of a miniature brush, in particular in the form of a mascara or interdental brush. Such brushes have a maximum diameter in the brush segment of less than 10 mm. The wire segments are formed from two mutually merging wire halves, since no loose, sharp ends protrude in this way. The free ends of the wire lie completely in the carrier after the attachment and therefore do not protrude. In that respect, no post-processing is required, for example, cutting ends protruding from the carrier, since the two free ends of the wire segments lie, as already stated, completely in the carrier. Preferably the carrier is the actual grip portion. Alternatively, the carrier can also be temporarily secured in a grip portion, such that it can be released and thus also exchanged. The carrier must have an opening at the end in which the part is fixed with the hair. In this case, preferably only a single component with hairs is fixed in the carrier, such that the brush is very filigree. The anchoring element can be pressed into the lateral wall of the opening or into the bottom of the opening. More specifically in the embodiment with a loop as an anchoring element, this is pressed into the bottom of the opening. According to a further embodiment of the invention, not only hairs radially spaced therefrom are provided, but there are also hairs which run substantially parallel to the end of the twisted wire segments on the carrier side. These hairs are also attached to the opening and protrude. These hairs are preferably also secured with the anchoring element, and more particularly, such an attachment is very simple in the embodiment with the anchoring element designed as a loop. Here hairs get caught in the loop, so that both ends of the loop run parallel to the opening. · The additional hairs extend over the radially spaced hairs without weaving between them. Thanks to the additional hairs, a new type of cleaning is particularly possible with interdental brushes, in which more particularly the radial hairs are brushed between the adjacent teeth, while the additional hairs clean the inward depth between the adjacent teeth and the gums. The aforementioned object is also achieved by means of a device for manufacturing a brush, more particularly a round brush, which comprises a carrier and a component with hairs fixed in the carrier. The part with the hairs has hairs that are fixed with twisted wire segments and more specifically serves for the realization of the aforementioned method. By using a holder for the carrier and a supply and positioning device, the component with the hairs and the carrier can be connected to each other. The supply and positioning device ensures a linear relative movement between the carrier on the one hand and the component with the hairs as well as with an anchoring element connected to the component with the hairs on the other. During this feeding and positioning movement, the component with the hairs, together with the anchoring element, are inextricably secured in the carrier. Although of course the carrier can also move relatively with respect to the fixed part with the hairs, in the preferred embodiment the reverse is provided, namely in the sense that the part with the hairs is moved together with the anchoring element and penetrates into the standing carrier. The brush according to the invention, which is more specifically designed as a round brush, comprises a carrier and a part with hairs which is received and fixed in the carrier, the hairs of which are fixed with twisted wire segments. The part with the hairs is inseparably fixed in an opening of the carrier by means of an anchoring element arranged at its end on the carrier side, as already explained earlier with reference to the method. According to the preferred embodiment, the wall of the opening is plastically deformed by the anchoring element such that it is anchored in the carrier. In this context, plastic deformation naturally also means an incision. The brush according to the invention can optionally also have the properties mentioned in connection with the method, as described above and as stated in the dependent claims. Further features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following description and the accompanying drawings, to which reference is made. In the drawings: - Figure 1 shows a device according to the invention with which the method according to the invention for manufacturing a brush is carried out, as well as a brush according to the invention just before it is finished, - Figure 2 is a cross-section of the brush according to the invention produced in the embodiment according to Figure 1, - Figure 3 shows a second embodiment of the brush according to the invention, just before it is finished, - Figure 4 shows the finished brush according to Figure 3, Figure 5 and Figure 6 again shows two different embodiments of the carrier, - Figure 7 is a top view of the brush comprising a carrier according to Figure 6, Figure 8 is a longitudinal section of the brush according to Figure 7, at the height of the opening in the carrier side, Figure 9 is a representation of a further embodiment of a brush, and - FIG. 10 is a longitudinal section through the brush of FIG. 9, at the height of n the opening in the carrier side. Figure 1 shows a device for manufacturing a brush 10 in a stylized manner. The brush 10 is designed as a round brush and comprises a carrier 12, which is preferably designed as an elongated body and at the same time forms the grip part. On the front side, the carrier 12 has an opening 14 in which the so-called component is attached with the hairs 16. The part with the hairs 16 is a so-called twisted part with hairs with a wire 18, the two halves of which are twisted together. Hair 20 is clamped between the twisted wire segments. The part with the hairs 16 thus comprises a segment which is equipped with hairs 20 as well as a hair-free segment 24 on the side of the wearer. The segment with hairs 24 is bent at its end along the side of the carrier, preferably in the form of a U or as a closed loop. The bent end on the carrier side has the reference number 26. An anchoring element 28, in this case a so-called anchor plate, is accommodated in the bent end 26 on the side of the carrier. With the aid of this anchor plate 28, the width of which is larger than the diameter of the opening 14, the part with the hairs 16 is connected to the carrier 12. This fixing of the part with the hairs 16 in the carrier 12 occurs as a result of a relative movement between the two units, namely the carrier 12 on the one hand and the part with the hairs 16 together with the anchoring element 28 on the other hand. In the example shown here the part with the hairs 16 is inserted into the opening 14 together with the anchor element 28. To this end, the device has a linearly moving tool head as a feed and positioning device 30, which blocks the anchoring element 28 and the part with the hairs 16 and pushes the anchoring element 28 and thus also the part with the hairs 16 into the opening 14. In this linear feeding and positioning movement, the anchoring element 28 presses into the wall of the opening 32 to plastically deform it, in particular to cut into it. In the embodiment shown, the opening 14 is shown in an excessively large size. The displacement movement is so long that the free, pointed end of the part with the hairs 16 no longer protrudes from the opening 14 and the hairs 20 preferably do not protrude into the opening 14. A post-processing of the part with the hairs 16, especially from the end 26 on the carrier side, is not necessary. Moreover, according to the preferred embodiment, additional locking of the component with the hairs 16 in the carrier 12, for example by spraying over, gluing or heating the carrier 12, is superfluous. As a holder for the carrier 12, the device has a detachable holder 34. More specifically, the device is a fully automatically operating device, e.g. a machining center, in which the supply and positioning device 30 is provided with a supply device for the part with the hairs 16, on the one hand, and for the anchoring elements 28, on the other hand. Just before the impact movement, the part with the hairs 16 and the anchoring element 28 are supplied and positioned relative to each other, whereafter they are pushed together into the carrier 12. The device can also comprise several stations, for example in which numerous carriers on one side of a turntable are accommodated parallel to each other. Namely, a large number of carriers can then be placed in a station in the corresponding holders 34, after which after being rotated to the next station they are equipped with the part with the hairs 16 and then finally be thrown out of the device in a third station. Figure 2 shows the completed brush, with the opening 14 here also being shown much larger for clarity. However, it is clear to see that the anchoring element 28 presses into the wall of the opening 32, which also includes the bottom 34 of the opening. The round brush shown is a so-called miniature brush, more specifically a mascara or interdental brush, the wire used having a diameter of only a few tenths of a millimeter. In the embodiment according to figures 3 and 4 only another anchoring element 28 is provided, such that with regard to the production method, the device and the actual brush reference can be made to the first embodiment and reference marks already employed can be used for identical parts or parts with a similar function. In this embodiment, an anchoring element 28 is used that is arcuate and has feet 36 that stand aside from one another and that meet one another. Of course, the feet 36 do not necessarily have to cross; they can also be U or V shaped, in other words parallel or outward. The feet 36 can also be equipped with barbs. In the embodiment shown in Figs. 3 and 4, the anchoring element 28 is formed from a wire bent into a loop. Instead of a bent wire, a punching element or the like can of course also be used. Via the device, the anchoring element 28 and the part with the hairs 16, which are connected to it in the supply and positioning device, are inserted into the opening 14 of the carrier 12 and anchored therein. The anchoring element 28, since it is received in the bent end 26 on the side of the carrier, takes the part with the hairs 16 during feeding and positioning. The standing feet 36 push themselves or cut themselves into the wall of the opening 32, here, for example, into the bottom of the opening 38 (see Figure 4), such that they are permanently anchored in it. In this embodiment, too, the pointed, free end of the segment 24 does not protrude from the opening 14. Furthermore, no further locking of the part with the hairs 16 on the carrier 12 is provided here either. In the embodiments of the miniature / round brush shown, only a single component with hairs 16 is attached to the carrier 12, namely via the front side. The carrier 12 also forms the handle portion. The part with hairs 16 can only be detached from the carrier 12 by making the piece. The unit formed by the carrier 12 and the part with the hairs 16 is therefore intended as a disposable article. In the embodiments according to figures 5 and 6 the carrier 12 is shown, which has different shapes, namely on the one hand (Figure 5) with an end in the form of a revolution cylinder with a revolution cylindrical opening 14 and on the other hand (Figure 6) with an end with a oval cross-section with an elongated, in this case more specifically an oval, opening 14. Reference mark 32 refers to the wall of the opening, to which bottom 38 can in each case also be counted. Here too, the carrier part 28 cuts into the cylindrical portion of the wall 32 of the opening and / or into the bottom 38 of the opening. Figures 7 and 8 show the brush with a carrier according to Figure 6. In these embodiments we see that due to the elongated shape of the opening 14 there is sufficient space to accommodate the U-shaped curved part with the hairs 16. In this embodiment the part with the hairs is equipped with hairs 20 over the entire longitudinal direction, such that there are also hairs 20 in the opening 14. In Figure 8 we further see that the anchoring portion 28 cuts into the bottom 38 of the opening. The embodiment according to Figs. 9 and 10 is a special and novel embodiment, since in addition to the radially running hairs 20 also additional parallel running hairs 40 are arranged which are axially arranged on the end of the twisted wire segment on the carrier side. These hairs 40 are punched together with the hairs 20 and can of course undergo a final processing (cutting, rounding). Naturally, pre-processed hairs with previously rounded, pointed or split ends, etc. can also be processed. The hairs 40 together with the twisted wire are bent 180 ° and placed over the support part 28 (in the example the loop) and held in the opening 14. As an alternative, the additional hairs 40 can of course also be fixed in the opening via an anchor plate, whereby they are bent around the anchor plate. The additional hairs 40 preferably do not extend fully to the radially extending hairs 20 and, so to speak, they end at a certain distance therefrom. The additional hairs 40 serve to clean the transition between the tooth surface and the gums. As an alternative to the round brushes shown, it is of course also possible to manufacture brushes which do not have the shape of a revolution cylinder, but which have a conical brush shape or are spiral-shaped, or also brushes in which the wire does not form the center of the brush cross-section. The hairs 20 also need not be evenly distributed around the circumference; the hairs can also be applied in the form of a spiral or the like.
